Thursday 4/6

Oh boy, Mr “Thinking I’m Doing Pretty Good” (had to stop typing and clean my keyboard, crimey sakes, looked liked I ate my dinner off it) didn’t get out of bed till 10:00 AM. Tired, sore but no cramps last night(must have been all the chips I ate). I got up, watched my neighbors leave had a cup of coffee, an Alleve and went back to bed.

Beautiful morning slight breeze. Got up and the Alleve had kicked in. It’s hard to sleep in. I get up 6:30- 7:00 most morning although I’m awake for most sunrises. I try to point the front bed window to the east but wind is always a consideration. Today’s agenda: get propane, shower, market, wifi, bike ride or walk old town ,newspaper, metal tub for wood and to stand in when showering in the great outdoors, golf balls. My next project is to get the out door shower working with hot water. We’ll see. I think light the water heater and make sure the stat works and good to go. My concern is the amount of resources(water / propane) I’ll use for the luxury of a shower. It’s not always easy to refill w/ water and dump your tanks.

Off I go, hey a Big Five! Go in to get the balls and ended up buying a $29 cart!! Right on! Screw wobbler! Oh, and a pair of shoes! What? TL;DT my left instep hurts wearing old shoes. Get to the market and also get a heavy rubber tub (better) I’m sorta by the course so head over. After 1:00 Twilight rates. Hit a bucket, putted and walked 9. Much better round. More relaxed and it was just the right amount of exercise. Putted well, birdied nine. They have a nice shower. About 1/2 hour to get back out to camping. Too late to do old town, tomorrow.

Bought a steak at the market. I eat fairly ghetto on the road. Sandwiches on bagels, rice, potatos, salads, hamburgers, anything that I can put on my little BBQ. But the steak was nice for a change. Got my hour of LOTR in and went to bed early.
