There’s a significant comfort level change from breezy, misty, cold to breezy, misty and warm. Single layer of clothing, about 60 at 7:30. Misty and overcast. Not to much dilly-dally today. A couple hundred miles best case, 250-260 if i need to fall back on the back up plan. Find myself creeping up to 60 so set the cruise for 57, which is right in Bill’s sweet spot. Hit Marathon before Loggins/Messina & Newman finish their jam. A little Jackson Browne for good measure.

Hit the park about 11:30 . Righty-o…there are cars everywhere at the visitors center. But you never know. Spend 20 minutes with Daphne but could’nt make it work w/o going a loooooong ways on #1 rocky road. Holiday weekend!!! Decide to head to the SP which was the backup. Hot finally! 90. It’s 7:30 in the evening and it’s 86. Little breeze. So I’m back at grassy banks for three days then head back to the park and try again.

Went to bed, no covers. Hot.Woke up about 10:00pm and crawled under the covers. Cool.
