My last day of Washington fishing license. Got going by 7:00am. Bill acted up again so, Lane Chevrolet here i come. A bit overcast but a beautiful drive. Filled with fuel in Darrington (20.87gal/ 239 miles 11.45mpg)

Made it to the dealer and it was a waste of time. Didn’t have a technician to look at it. Of course, Bill never made a squeak, to boot. Well, i get on hwy 2 heading east and Stevens Pass. My thoughts are to head back to Montana on hwy 2 and fish my way down to Missoula.

Traveler’s Observation: Most post offices in small rural towns don’t open till 11:30am.
Traveler’s Observation: Washington drivers are BY FAR the worse one finger wavers in my travels. Rural or city, doesn’t matter.

Got to Levanworth Wa, super tourist town in the Swiss alps motif. But there are a couple of CG up Icicle Creek. There were tons of cars parked on the side of the road the eight miles or so to the first CG. WITW is with all these people. First CG, nothing but “reserved” signs on all sites. Hmmm TL;DR finally 3rd CG had a few openings and i actually got a nice spot. Streamside and i caught a couple of fish! Yea!

Tomorrow eastward. Good night.
