Tuesday 9/17

Still overcast and spitting rain this morning. Low 40’s this morning. I’m only going a short distance to the upper campground, maybe 10-15 miles. Didn’t get going till 10:00ish.The road is a bit slick so i gently made my way to the new campground. Right off the road, but pretty much the same as the lower. Newer outhouse and a spring for fresh water.

I carry 5-1 gallon jugs for my drinking water and use the schooner water for anything that i heat up and bathroom/kitchen duty. I go thru a little less than a gallon a day usually, sometimes more. I filled my two empties and it tastes good!

Windy and rainy till late afternoon then the sun played hide and seek till dark. Got a couple of walks in and stretched in the sun this afternoon. Read a bit, cleaned a bit, napped a bit, read a little more and before you know it, it’s 8:00.

Should be sunny tomorrow. Heading to Yellowstone and if i time it right should be able to stay in the park and do some site seeing. No service here, so I’ll load this up tomorrow hopefully. I’ve taken lots of pictures so far and took the time to learn how to air drop pictures from my phone to the ipad , so that’s nice.
