Rained off and on last night but just overcast this morning. My first night at Lewis Lake the CG filled. Last night, not so much. This is a no generator CG. First one I’ve stayed at. Not enough sun for the solar collectors so i give the battery a good workout.  Down too 12.48v, about 60% left. The cpap uses a bit of power with 8-10 hour per night. But i went two days with just a small charge from driving a bit.

Of course, no generators doesn’t apply to anyone from Florida because it’s important to have your bagels toasted. That was at 6:30 this morning. And, while I’m at it, yesterday during a busy time on the boardwalk at the geysers, a older family of three, grandma/ grandpa/ older daughter STOP in the middle of a transition stretch from one geyser to the next and proceed to bend over to look at something on both sides of the walkway. These areas are thoroughfares. People are moving.  BLOCKED! People backing up. They, carrying on their conversation like it was Sunday dinner. People backing up. Of course, I’m the next person in line. People backing up. And the one who has to decide to thread the needle, stand there helpless or push all three over the edge. Must of been 20-25 people cooling their jets.Fortunately they finish their conversation and proceeded to hobble forward as the more aggressive oldsters power walk thru us. I stayed stopped till everyone got by me ( some of them giving me the stink eye, thinking I’m to blame)Goodness.

A couple of sweet waterfalls on the way out of the park. I missed the pullout on the one, on the opposite side, and had to backtrack 4-5 miles, I was happy i just didn’t shine it. It always takes a bit of time to get into that traveling mode.

I’m sure the Grand Tetons are nice but all i saw was rain and fog. It will be the same tomorrow so decided to head south till i hit sun. Just a rainy drive today till LaBarge WY. Nice BLM campground $3.50.Open grassland around a Reservoir. A bit windy but not raining. Nice walk tonight.

I bought a new rain jacket before i left. A REI special member, you are the greatest, here is a sale to beat any sale jacket. It has got a bit of a workout and I’m pleased. A  green Columbia. It’s no salmon fishing on the Nushiack River but peachy for my travels.

Ah, Jackson Hole, o my goodness. It’s ….. full of it’s self. What in the world is a Bristo? There’s a lot of them. Got some fuel.(12.78) Got some groceries and got out of there.

Got postcards written, will mail tomorrow. Everyone ‘cept Arthur. Sorry buddy but i mentioned you in the ones to your sisters!
