Early to bed, early to rise. My circadian clock is being readjusted. As soon as i have my chores done and it’s dark i go to bed. Eight o’clock has not been too early. Awake at 5:30 ish and usually fall back asleep and get up 7:00ish. I find i sleep good in the schooner. It might be the temperature.

Original plan leave by 7:00am and backtrack 30 miles to the heart of the geysers. Left at 6:20am and glad i did. Took the Firehole River/Geyser loop and just one other vehicle in the 7-8 miles. Walked some boardwalks, took some pictures. Did the Mid basin area and still very few tourist but by my next stop it was 8:30 and starting to get too crowded for me.  When you have to plan your trip around the boardwalks not to get in a traffic jam, it’s too crowded. 95% older people.

Headed to Old Faithful area and parked in the parking lot (BIG) and updated the blog. Slow go loading picture so only loaded some basics and will update when convenient. Also uploaded a picture to Facebook with a invitation to the blog, but no blog address. Headed back to Lewis Lake and considered just leaving today for Grand Tetons but decided i wasn’t in a hurry.

Been dealing with sneezing and watery eyes so took a couple of Benadryl. Good night Irene! Laid down for a short while that turned into 3 hours! Walked around the lake a bit then pork steak and salad for supper. There could be light snow tonight. Heading south tomorrow.
