Yesterday was fuel and propane, today is dump my tanks and add fresh water. But not in Dinosaur NM. No water ,no dump. Next stop Lake High State Park. West Colorado. Grand Junction area. About 80 miles away on some roads less traveled.

A nice road that I’m comfortable at 45. The kind that you see lots of short tire skid marks. That’s from trailers leaving the ground and coming back down hard! Lots of frost heave. Stopped at a wayside stop and took a short hike to some petroglyphs. Just a typical day on the road. I’m wishing I would of stayed down in Echo Park for a couple more days. Oh well.

Okay, the state park. Fresh water hydrant at my site. Dump tanks on the way to my site. A laundry, and a shower!! But $33 per night, no power, no sewer. I’m fine with it. Nice to get laundry caught up. Shower $1 for 4 minutes. Double washed everything. And I’m not braggin’ but 7 pairs of briefs in 12 days!

Filled up with water at my site. I carry a 25′ hose for this purpose. So I should be set for some adventure camping now. Enough of these 88 site campgrounds. Went on a bike ride this evening. Nice! Hamburgers tonight Harper!

Tomorrow….Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP…..I think.
