Starting my tenth week on the road tomorrow. You ever wish for a 10 week vacation? I have. This day has nothing special. Not driving anywhere and the walks can be of varies lengths. Quietly get the solar going and give the stovetop a through cleaning. Read a little, walked a little and took some cactus pictures. This area is very prickly. No saguaros but lots of barrel. You don’t force your way, you pick your way and keep the pricks to a minimum. And they are sneaky. Best look for snakes and tarantulas while your at it. Not many bears. Mountain lions, a few.

No cell coverage at the campsite but there is a hill about a 1/4 mile away that will pick a signal up. I miss no internet. Still deciding when to head to Organ Pipe NM and should I do it in 1 or 2 days. It’s about 200 miles. Then about 200 miles to the Salton Sea where I want to be Thursday night. If I leave here Tuesday, arrive at OPNM in the afternoon, then Wednesday stay over. Thursday morning leave for Salton Sea. Maybe get a bit more golf in.

My knee is sore but tired sore, not hurt sore. My elbows are tender and my hands are tight. Other than that, normal aftermath of 18 holes walking. One short walk today. Tomorrow, I’m thinking the same. Good night.
