Monday 9/20

Monday 9/20
Started the day by whistling at some prairie dogs. Greycliff Prairie Dog Town in Greycliff, Mt. If you’ve ever been to Billings, you have been thru the town and never even whistled.
Rolling towards Stillwater Riiver south of Columbus today, not very far. Been using the frontage roads and roads that go in the general direction of the Interstate. The Interstate requires minimum 65mph. The frontage roads require you to stop at all History/Geological pullouts, it’s a good trade off.
More campgrounds in this area then expected. City Park Columbus and a couple of Fishing Access sites with camping. Visited them all and decided on Suspended Bridge FAS. Backed the Schooner so the door looks right over the water. Fishing looks acceptable other than it is still windy, not breezy, windy. Maybe later this evening it will settle down.

Seems to be a friendly day or I look like i need a friend. Floridian couple retired from Florida Gas & Electric spent a hour quizzing for driving info as they headed to Glaicer then south into Idaho, then a father/ son from North Carolina spent some time educating me on fishing the Stillwater. I didn’t see them catch anything.

I can’t leave well enough alone. My refrigerator was a bit colder than i wanted, so i been slowly turning the dial down….overnight it dropped too low and some of my freezer stuff soften up. I’m on it.

Will give Bob Gaughen a call tomorrow to see about golfing. Maybe lunch sometime this week with Ridgway.
Good night.
