Wednesday 10/26

The night at Crater was cold and windy. Fifty sites, 8 campers of which four were tent campers who are mighty souls. Nineish start. To bitter for a walk and it started to snow. I need to quit dilly-dallying and go south.

POS drive . Rain and snow from Pocatello to Nephi Utah. The only silver lining was my seat! Didn’t adjust once today and my back felt better. Last night my back and shoulders were tight. Allie got me a nice massager that  i can use at home but now in the schooner. Worked back and neck for half hour, nice.

The hatch cover on the LP wasn’t latched so i pulled off on the next off-ramp. Fixed it, locked it and checked the schooner’s tie-downs. It was the road to Capital Reef NP so that’s where I am tonight. Last spot available and only for tonight. But it’s not raining and it’s 50F so i’m fine.

The drive today required  a lot of 65+ mph to be safe. Dropped my MPG to 13.3. We aren’t streamlined but we are stable. Diesel $5.16 to $5.36. Came thru SLC about 1PM traffic was busy and it rained heavily at times. 

No walk, no nothing. Bit of a stretch in the dark next to Bill. Tomorrow morning walk first thing.

Tomorrow plan, i don’t know. See if i can get a site for a couple of night or continue south like a butterfly.
