Saturday 11/26

Got going by 9:30 this morning. Need to fill propane, dump my waste, top off my water, fill Bill up, go to the market and hit some balls. Leaving early tomorrow morning and it’s 250 miles to Pancho Villa State Park in New Mexico.

I’ve been here long enough and explored so it was a nice stressless morning. Of course busy Saturday morning. Got everything done plus a couple other things and spent the rest of the day reading. A hiatus from Bob Lee Swagger, now rereading Joe Abercrombie’s Half A King series. Oh, cleaned Bill’s windshield both in and out. Actually all the windows in Bill and the schooner!

When i hit Texas there is no more BLM land, no dispersed camping. They do have a nice state park system of camp grounds. Which means power and sometimes sewer hookups. What a luxury! Buying a 1500W electric heater to use instead of propane in those campgrounds. Tomorrow Pancho’s place, maybe the next day and then Big Bend.

I’ve enjoyed Green Valley and was very fortunate to find this campground. No Blaze riding! Too steep!! I think old Blaze will be able to stretch his legs in the next couple of weeks, tho. Found some pictures that are out of order.
