Thursday 9/23
Slow start today. Heading north up US87 towards Roundup then hook back on to US12 and follow the Mussellshell towards Miles City. Nice slow drive and very little traffic. Been stopping at the Historical road sites and taking a picture of the sign. Montana is a real interesting place. Stopped in Ingomar, Mt, sheep capital of the world at one time. A couple of building is all that is left and i didn’t see one sheep.
Had lunch in Forsyth at the city park. Checked out a couple of FAS and decided to stay at the second one. Another no cost spot. The access to the river is about a 1/4 mile down the road or you can just(ha) cross thru the bushes and brambles following cow trails. Tried twice and couldn’t make my way thru. Scratched my arms and legs all up but turned back. The Yellowstone River is getting to be a River! Big and wide. Haven’t seen many places that i would want to try getting a schooner over.
Blacked salmon and rice for dinner. Not bad! Talked to the Moore’s tonight. Tuesday and Thursday are scoocer practice days so really busy and late getting home. Multiple people speaking so hard to hear what they are saying. Bottomline, don’t call on Tuesday and Thursday.
Tomorrow Range Rider museum. Good night
