Early start. But not too early. Rolling by 8:30am. A little cool this morning but low 80’s are forecast with some clouds. I put on my sunscreen every morning…..mostly. But i did this morning. Got plenty of water and the green chair! I like the new green chair’s height. It’s a inch or two higher then the original. Too heavy. But Blaze doesn’t mind and my bum will appreciate it! Twenty-one miles of mostly washboard. Beautiful but bumpy. My bum was sore from the day before ride and now it is tender. Beautiful! Four hours,23.5 miles, 1700′ elev gain.
Had a nice lunch and a nap when i got back. This is a very beautiful spot. The sunsets and sunrises on fire! Really need another day, probably two to enjoy it a bit more.
