Thanksgiving
Didn’t get out of my pajamas till 11:30. Chilly, 43F but the sun is shining. Tucson days, cold in the morning and warming up to low 60 by 4 or 5 in the afternoon. Golf courses aren’t busy till noonish and i can understand why. Got TTRLT updated, as you know, in the morning and headed out to Kent Springs, 2.7 miles away.

This ground is broken up shale, baseball to football size. The trails are ankle turners. A two stick hike. I’ve noticed the green chair isn’t getting the love it once did. LOTS of rocks to sit on and it’s a bit easier to get up off the ground. The trail isn’t very long, not even 18 holes worth but it is steep. See elevation on screen print. There were a couple of times i questioned the pain worth the gain aspect but kept on truckin’. No wildflowers but the streams from the springs were flowing. I was tired when i got back.
Thanksgiving dinner was steak and mashed potatoes and pecan pie for dessert. And Maci Moore, I like a little squirt of flavor in my water. I usually don’t do dishes in the evening. Semi-raise and sit till morning when i do dishes from the hot water i boil for tea. I don’t have the hot water heater fired up. There is not much room in the schooner.. The good part is everything is right there but it clutters up fast. My meals have settled down with more consistent good choices at the market. I don’t have the Moore’s pantry or candy stash to satisfy my sweet tooth. Apples, bananas, oranges and i have a hunger for blueberries and cream with just a touch of sugar. I keep a bag of Costco blueberries in the tiny freezer.
So far, all the little modifications i did before leaving are working out. Removing the swinging bath door and modifying a pleated door to fit in it’s place has given me a lot more space. Never used the bath except when i needed the facilities, now the access is easy for many things. The front bed area has a couple of new shelves and a new hi speed double usb C outlet to charge all the Apple stuff. It is very comfortable.
Tomorrow, golf
