Gosh, I worked JTNP pretty good! I’m coming back ‘cause I didn’t get to a couple of places. It’s only 150 miles to John&Jana so I’m just going to mosey down Hwy 62. I think I’ll start taking a picture of the Hwy number signs. This road is the same road I used crossing from the coast. First thing out of the chute past 29 Palms, “Next Services 100 Miles”. Okay, this may qualify for a road less traveled. For California, absolutely. For the real world, nope. But it is a nice drive thru some beautiful desert.

This should be a 50 mph road. The posted is 65 mph. Which means 55 mph is the slowest safe speed I can go. Bill’s cruise control doesn’t understand desert washes and speeds up /slows down constantly. So that means I need to be in control. Well, I’m sorry to say, California has effected me in 3 short weeks. Dude, slow the …. down! Too many times saw 65-70.

XM radio, when the music matches the terrain it’s a head shaker. New Age / Fusion jazz, ya baby!

This is really nice desert and I need to bring the Suzuki down here….. or maybe a side by side.
I’m rethinking Florida next Spring. I might just do a whole Texas coast / Texas in general/ Southwest gig. It goes back to I don’t need to go to the end of the road to know what’s there. Of course it really doesn’t matter what I think today other than what I’m doing tomorrow. Which is, spend another day here with John&Jana and leave Sunday morning heading on the backroads to Death Valley. Spend a day or so there and then blitz home…but I still want to look up Kevin…

Side note: The facebook video. Super camera has a setting I inadvertently switched to that shoots a picture and takes a short video also. I didn’t preview it before loading. I just should of slowed down.
