Nice sunrise this morning. Up and going early. dumped my tanks and added some fresh water before i left Mesquite Flats. Decided to go up the #1 gravel road 3 miles to Titus Canyon and have a look-see. It is a canyon with a one way road that starts on the road coming from Beatty NV. I have seen the entrance a couple of times. It’s narrow so it’s one way and empty’s into the park. Walked up thru it a couple of miles, no traffic this early. Kinda of cool but uphill all the way till you turn around. the full regalia. Boots, pack, pole, binos, camera and of course, the green chair.

Headed back to pavement and stopped at all the little exhibits on the way to Furnace Creek CG. Furnace Creek CG-Full! There are a couple more right there so for $7 i camped in another parking lot type campground. Nice bathrooms but no showers. Spent a restless night and got a early start on Saturday.
