Goodness, Starting my eighth week on the road. I’ll look tomorrow but I think I’m a bit over 2500 miles. I’ve done a lot of zig zagging on this trip. Right at $700.00 worth of fuel. Most likely a couple of hundred for campsites. Nothing on motels, $18 on fast food, and no idea on groceries. Take the fuel out of the equation and not too bad of a life style. Seen some good stuff!
Decided last night, just before I went to sleep, to stay here a couple more days. I have a nice spot, real private. Nine dollars a nite is okay and there is a hiking trail up Clear Creek. So I pay for a few more days and this morning got a nice 2.66 mile walk down by the creek. I really like Jonathan. It keeps track of where I’m at and makes it easy to get back to the schooner. It also has a watch face that shows a different picture of this trip when I look at my watch. Cool!!
After five months of healing my ablation has seemed to have done the trick. I haven’t had a reason to think of my heart the last month or so. No rogue beats, no icky feelings. One day at a time.
Tomorrow, Montezuma Castle! A big ruin about twenty miles away. Then Sunday head towards Theodore Roosevelt Reservoir. Good night.
