Sleeping with just the screen door shut is working out fine….except when I forget to close the little sliding door that accesses the latch. Did that about three this morning and woke up to a couple of birds flying around inside the schooner bashing into windows. Used a towel to herd them out. Thank goodness they didn’t poop anywhere (that I’ve found yet). And that was the most excitement of the day.

Put a serious dent in George RR Martin’s second book “A Clash of Kings”  Overcast and mid 70s today. Lots of traffic and people. Even seen the Sheriff cruise thru. All Arizona plates. I’m the only out of stater. Took a couple of short walks, took a couple of short naps and read. Being a holiday weekend I just need to sit tight and get moving again on Tuesday. A laundromat would be nice. Maybe on Tuesday. I want to be to Allan&Bev’s by the 22nd. That leaves me about a week and a half to go 350 miles. No problem. Good night.
