Okay! The refer is starting to get cold. Off we go. US2 is kinda busy and more of a 65mph road. A little fast for my taste. The Hi Line is….well everyone should experience it once. There where a lot of atrocities against the indian committed by the white man that have taken place up here. Stopped at Bear Paw Battlefield. This is we’re Chief Jospeh finally gave up. Just two days from Canada. This is where we put 350 old people and children and a hundred warriors under siege for SIX days. On the open pairie. Bombarded them with howiters and Hotchkiss machine gun…6 days! Terrible, a different culture back then. Think Muslim.
Interesting site. One ranger in his truck who gets out and talks to you in the parking lot. He was very knowledgeable and informative.
Back to US2. Camping is a bit scare up here. Looks like a nice spot on Nelson Reservoir outside Malta, not very far today but that’s the way it goes some days. Get a nice spot right on the water and make a roast beef sandwich. I kinda think about the refer problems and this was week old roast beef to boot but it looks fine.
No rhythm yet for this trip, unless it’s the rhythm of miscellaneous problems and situations.
